Vendor and consultant guidelines for Web Analytics Wednesday

What sponsorship means

  • Paying for venue, food and drinks.
  • Usually two sponsors are appointed, one vendor and one consultant/agency.

What sponsors get

  • The chance to show a presence on the German market
  • Their logo or name displayed in every invitatio,, on this page, an eventual sign-up page on www.wanalytics.de and the history of events here
  • Access to names of those who participated, but NOT e-mail addresses or phone numbers

What Web Analytics Wednesday is

  • A meeting where end-users, consultants and vendors come together to discuss web analytics.
  • An informal, friendly and fun event.
  • Always free for participants.

What Web Analytics Wednesday isn’t

  • A place for vendor cannibalism, i.e. don’t use it as a way to “steal” clients from each other. Such behavior will only scare away end-users/potential clients.
  • A place for sale pitches. You don’t have to work hard to sell, your presence and knowledge is enough.
  • A place to hand out marketing materials or display big banners and signs. You can leave marketing materials on a table.
  • A place for “tool wars”.
  • A conference.

What presentations should be like

  • Focus on web analytics as a subject, not on tools (use screenshots with moderation)
  • There to educate on the subject, not to sell a product or a service

Does WAA or the Host make any money on WAW?

  • Nope. Vendors cover the cost for venue, food and drinks. That’s all. Participants pay nothing.
